How to run the NTO SQL Invader in Ubuntu/Backtrack or any other Linux?

We recently published a news about NTO SQL Invader tool in our Hacking News network ,a new SQL Injection vulnerability scanner and exploiting tool.

In order to get the application , you have to enter your email address. They will send the link to the application.I got only NTOSQLInvader_Setup.exe file. I think you know that “.exe” files works only in Windows.(You can also run the .exe files in Linux using Wine Application).

So i installed the application the in Windows xp. When i launched the application , GUI is familiar one for me. Yes, it is written in Java. If it is written in java, then there will be .jar file inside the .exe file. So i extract it and get the jar file (jar files can be run in any OS , if you installed JRE ).

How to run the SQL Invader in Linux?
Requirements:
JRE 1.4 or 1.5 or 1.6 version

Step 1:
Download the .exe file from the given link.
Place it in desktop.

Step 2:
Right click on the NTOSQLInvader_Setup.exe file and click the extract here .

Now you can find a NTOSQLInvader_Setup folder in your desktop.

Step 3:
Open the folder ,there you can see three files . We are going to need “NTOSQLInvader.jar ” file only. So delete other two files.

Step 4:
That’s all , copy the .jar file anywhere else or leave it in Dekstop itself.
Double click the file it will start to run.
Enjoy the application in Linux also…!!

You can run the NTOSQLInvader.jar file alone in any operating system(windows,mac,…), if you installed JRE.

7.) Bluediving: Bluediving is a Bluetooth penetration testing suite. It implements attacks like Bluebug, BlueSnarf, BlueSnarf++, BlueSmack, has features such as Bluetooth address spoofing, an AT and a RFCOMM socket shell and implements tools like carwhisperer, bss, L2CAP packetgenerator, L2CAP connection resetter, RFCOMM scanner and greenplaque scanning mode..

8.) Transient Bluetooth Environment Auditor: T-BEAR is a security-auditing platform for Bluetooth-enabled devices. The platform consists of Bluetooth discovery tools, sniffing tools and various cracking tools.

9.) Bluesnarfer: Bluesnarfer will download the phone-book of any mobile device vulnerable to Bluesnarfing. Bluesnarfing is a serious security flow discovered in several Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones. If a mobile phone is vulnerable, it is possible to connect to the phone without alerting the owner, and gain access to restricted portions of the stored data.

10.) BTcrack: BTCrack is a Bluetooth Pass phrase (PIN) cracking tool. BTCrack aims to reconstruct the Passkey and the Link key from captured Pairing exchanges.

11.) Blooover II: Blooover II is a J2ME-based auditing tool. It is intended to serve as an auditing tool to check whether a mobile phone is vulnerable.

Historical Note: Hacking, Open Source, and Free Software

When I originally wrote this how-to in late 1996, some of theconditions around it were very different from the way they look today.A few words about these changes may help clarify matters for peoplewho are confused about the relationship of open source, freesoftware, and Linux to the hacker community. If you are not curiousabout this, you can skip straight to the FAQ and bibliography fromhere.
The hacker ethos and community as I have described it here longpredates the emergence of Linux after 1990; I first became involvedwith it around 1976, and, its roots are readily traceable back to theearly 1960s. But before Linux, most hacking was done on eitherproprietary operating systems or a handful of quasi-experimentalhomegrown systems like MIT's ITS that were never deployed outside oftheir original academic niches. While there had been some earlier(pre-Linux) attempts to change this situation, their impact was atbest very marginal and confined to communities of dedicated truebelievers which were tiny minorities even within the hacker community,let alone with respect to the larger world of software ingeneral.
What is now called "open source" goes back as far as the hackercommunity does, but until 1985 it was an unnamed folk practice ratherthan a conscious movement with theories and manifestos attached to it.This prehistory ended when, in 1985, arch-hacker Richard Stallman("RMS") tried to give it a name â€” "free software". But his actof naming was also an act of claiming; he attached ideological baggageto the "free software" label which much of the existing hackercommunity never accepted. As a result, the "free software" label wasloudly rejected by a substantial minority of the hacker community(especially among those associated with BSD Unix), and used withserious but silent reservations by a majority of the remainder(including myself).
Despite these reservations, RMS's claim to define and lead thehacker community under the "free software" banner broadly held untilthe mid-1990s. It was seriously challenged only by the rise of Linux.Linux gave open-source development a natural home. Many projectsissued under terms we would now call open-source migrated fromproprietary Unixes to Linux. The community around Linux grewexplosively, becoming far larger and more heterogenous than thepre-Linux hacker culture. RMS determinedly attempted to co-opt allthis activity into his "free software" movement, but was thwarted byboth the exploding diversity of the Linux community and the publicskepticism of its founder, Linus Torvalds. Torvalds continued to usethe term "free software" for lack of any alternative, but publiclyrejected RMS's ideological baggage. Many younger hackers followedsuit.
In 1996, when I first published this Hacker HOWTO, the hackercommunity was rapidly reorganizing around Linux and a handful of otheropen-source operating systems (notably those descended from BSDUnix). Community memory of the fact that most of us had spent decadesdeveloping closed-source software on closed-source operating systemshad not yet begun to fade, but that fact was already beginning to seemlike part of a dead past; hackers were, increasingly, definingthemselves as hackers by their attachments to open-source projectssuch as Linux or Apache.
The term "open source", however, had not yet emerged; it wouldnot do so until early 1998. When it did, most of hacker communityadopted it within the following six months; the exceptions were aminority ideologically attached to the term "free software". Since1998, and especially after about 2003, the identification of 'hacking'with 'open-source (and free software) development' has becomeextremely close. Today there is little point in attempting todistinguish between these categories, and it seems unlikely that willchange in the future.
It is worth remembering, however, that this was not always so.

Points For Style

Again, to be a hacker, you have to enter the hacker mindset. Thereare some things you can do when you're not at a computer that seem tohelp. They're not substitutes for hacking (nothing is) but manyhackers do them, and feel that they connect in some basic waywith the essence of hacking.

Learn to write your native language well. Though it's a common stereotype that programmers can't write, a surprising number of hackers (including all the most accomplished ones I know of) are very able writers.
Read science fiction. Go to science fiction conventions (a good way to meet hackers and proto-hackers).
Train in a martial-arts form. The kind of mental discipline required for martial arts seems to be similar in important ways to what hackers do. The most popular forms among hackers are definitely Asian empty-hand arts such as Tae Kwon Do, various forms of Karate, Kung Fu, Aikido, or Ju Jitsu. Western fencing and Asian sword arts also have visible followings. In places where it's legal, pistol shooting has been rising in popularity since the late 1990s. The most hackerly martial arts are those which emphasize mental discipline, relaxed awareness, and control, rather than raw strength, athleticism, or physical toughness.
Study an actual meditation discipline. The perennial favorite among hackers is Zen (importantly, it is possible to benefit from Zen without acquiring a religion or discarding one you already have). Other styles may work as well, but be careful to choose one that doesn't require you to believe crazy things.
Develop an analytical ear for music. Learn to appreciate peculiar kinds of music. Learn to play some musical instrument well, or how to sing.
Develop your appreciation of puns and wordplay.

The more of these things you already do, the more likely it is that youare natural hacker material. Why these things in particular is notcompletely clear, but they're connected with a mix of left- andright-brain skills that seems to be important; hackers need tobe able to both reason logically and step outside the apparentlogic of a problem at a moment's notice.
Work as intensely as you play and play as intensely as you work.For true hackers, the boundaries between "play", "work", "science" and"art" all tend to disappear, or to merge into a high-level creativeplayfulness. Also, don't be content with a narrow range of skills.Though most hackers self-describe as programmers, they are very likelyto be more than competent in several related skills â€” systemadministration, web design, and PC hardware troubleshooting are commonones. A hacker who's a system administrator, on the other hand, islikely to be quite skilled at script programming and web design.Hackers don't do things by halves; if they invest in a skill at all,they tend to get very good at it.
Finally, a few things not todo.

Don't use a silly, grandiose user ID or screen name.
Don't get in flame wars on Usenet (or anywhere else).
Don't call yourself a â€˜cyberpunkâ€™, and don't waste your time on anybody who does.
Don't post or email writing that's full of spelling errors and bad grammar.

The only reputation you'll make doing any of these things is as atwit. Hackers have long memories â€” it could take you years to liveyour early blunders down enough to be accepted.
The problem with screen names or handles deserves someamplification. Concealing your identity behind a handle is a juvenileand silly behavior characteristic of crackers, warez d00dz, and otherlower life forms. Hackers don't do this; they're proud of what theydo and want it associated with their real names.So if you have a handle, drop it. In the hacker culture it will onlymark you as a loser.

The Hacker/Nerd Connection

Contrary to popular myth, you don't have to be a nerd to be ahacker. It does help, however, and many hackers are in fact nerds.Being something of a social outcast helps you stay concentrated on thereally important things, like thinking and hacking.
For this reason, many hackers have adopted the labelâ€˜geekâ€™ as a badge of pride â€” it's a way of declaringtheir independence from normal social expectations (as well as afondness for other things like science fiction and strategy games thatoften go with being a hacker). The term 'nerd' used to be used thisway back in the 1990s, back when 'nerd' was a mild pejorative and'geek' a rather harsher one; sometime after 2000 they switched places,at least in U.S. popular culture, and there is now even a significantgeek-pride culture among people who aren't techies.
If you can manage to concentrate enough on hacking to be good at itand still have a life, that's fine. This is a lot easier today thanit was when I was a newbie in the 1970s; mainstream culture is muchfriendlier to techno-nerds now. There are even growing numbers ofpeople who realize that hackers are often high-quality lover andspouse material.
If you're attracted to hacking because you don't have a life,that's OK too â€” at least you won't have trouble concentrating. Maybeyou'll get a life later on.

1. Learn how to program.

This, of course, is the fundamental hacking skill. If you don'tknow any computer languages, I recommend starting with Python. It iscleanly designed, well documented, and relatively kind to beginners.Despite being a good first language, it is not just a toy; it is verypowerful and flexible and well suited for large projects. I havewritten a more detailed evaluationof Python. Good tutorials are available at the Python web site.
I used to recommend Java as a good language to learn early, butthiscritique has changed my mind (search for â€œThe Pitfalls ofJava as a First Programming Languageâ€ within it). A hackercannot, as they devastatingly put it â€œapproach problem-solvinglike a plumber in a hardware storeâ€; you have to know what thecomponents actually do. Now I think it isprobably best to learn C and Lisp first, then Java.
There is perhaps a more general point here. If a language does toomuch for you, it may be simultaneously a good tool for production anda bad one for learning. It's not only languages that have thisproblem; web application frameworks like RubyOnRails, CakePHP, Djangomay make it too easy to reach a superficial sort of understanding thatwill leave you without resources when you have to tackle a hardproblem, or even just debug the solution to an easy one.
If you get into serious programming, you will have to learn C,the core language of Unix. C++ is very closely related to C; if youknow one, learning the other will not be difficult. Neither languageis a good one to try learning as your first, however. And, actually,the more you can avoid programming in C the more productive you willbe.
C is very efficient, and very sparing of your machine'sresources. Unfortunately, C gets that efficiency by requiring you todo a lot of low-level management of resources (like memory) by hand.All that low-level code is complex and bug-prone, and will soak uphuge amounts of your time on debugging. With today's machines aspowerful as they are, this is usually a bad tradeoff â€” it's smarterto use a language that uses the machine's time less efficiently, butyour time much more efficiently. Thus, Python.
Other languages of particular importance to hackers includePerl and LISP. Perl is worthlearning for practical reasons; it's very widely used for active webpages and system administration, so that even if you never write Perlyou should learn to read it. Many people use Perl in the way I suggest you should use Python, to avoid C programming on jobs thatdon't require C's machine efficiency. You will need to be ableto understand their code.
LISP is worth learning for a different reason â€” theprofound enlightenment experience you will have when you finally getit. That experience will make you a better programmer for the rest ofyour days, even if you never actually use LISP itself a lot. (You canget some beginning experience with LISP fairly easily by writing andmodifying editing modes for the Emacs text editor, or Script-Fuplugins for the GIMP.)
It's best, actually, to learn all five of Python, C/C++, Java,Perl, and LISP. Besides being the most important hacking languages,they represent very different approaches to programming, and each willeducate you in valuable ways.
But be aware that you won't reach the skill level of a hacker oreven merely a programmer simply by accumulating languages â€” youneed to learn how to think about programming problems in a generalway, independent of any one language. To be a real hacker, you needto get to the point where you can learn a new language in days byrelating what's in the manual to what you already know. This meansyou should learn several very different languages.
I can't give complete instructions on how to learn to programhere â€” it's a complex skill. But I can tell you that books andcourses won't do it â€” many, maybe most of the besthackers are self-taught. You can learn language features â€” bits ofknowledge â€” from books, but the mind-set that makes that knowledgeinto living skill can be learned only by practice and apprenticeship.What will do it is (a) reading code and (b)writing code.
Peter Norvig, who is one of Google's top hackers and theco-author of the most widely used textbook on AI, has written anexcellent essay called Teach Yourself Programming inTen Years. His "recipe for programming success" is worthcareful attention.
Learning to program is like learning to write good natural language.The best way to do it is to read some stuff written by masters of theform, write some things yourself, read a lot more, write a littlemore, read a lot more, write some more ... and repeat until yourwriting begins to develop the kind of strength and economy you see inyour models.
Finding good code to read used to be hard, because there were fewlarge programs available in source for fledgeling hackers to read andtinker with. This has changed dramatically; open-source software,programming tools, and operating systems (all built by hackers) arenow widely available. Which brings me neatly to our next topic...

2. Get one of the open-source Unixes and learn to use and run it.

I'll assume you have a personal computer or can get access toone. (Take a moment to appreciate how much that means. The hackerculture originally evolved back when computers were so expensive thatindividuals could not own them.) The single most important step anynewbie can take toward acquiring hacker skills is to get a copy ofLinux or one of the BSD-Unixes or OpenSolaris, install it on apersonal machine, and run it.
Yes, there are other operating systems in the world besidesUnix. But they're distributed in binary â€” you can't read thecode, and you can't modify it. Trying to learn to hack on a MicrosoftWindows machine or under any other closed-source system is like tryingto learn to dance while wearing a body cast.
Under Mac OS X it's possible, but only part of the system is opensource â€” you're likely to hit a lot of walls, and you have to becareful not to develop the bad habit of depending on Apple'sproprietary code. If you concentrate on the Unix under the hoodyou can learn some useful things.
Unix is the operating system of the Internet. While you canlearn to use the Internet without knowing Unix, you can't be anInternet hacker without understanding Unix. For this reason, the hackerculture today is pretty strongly Unix-centered. (This wasn't alwaystrue, and some old-time hackers still aren't happy about it, but thesymbiosis between Unix and the Internet has become strong enough thateven Microsoft's muscle doesn't seem able to seriously dent it.)
So, bring up a Unix â€” I like Linux myself but there are otherways (and yes, you can run both Linux andMicrosoft Windows on the same machine). Learn it. Run it. Tinker with it.Talk to the Internet with it. Read the code. Modify the code.You'll get better programming tools (including C, LISP, Python, andPerl) than any Microsoft operating system can dream of hosting, you'llhave fun, and you'll soak up more knowledge than you realize you'relearning until you look back on it as a master hacker.

During the first ten years of this HOWTO's life, I reported thatfrom a new user's point of view, all Linux distributions are almostequivalent. But in 2006-2007, an actual best choice emerged: Ubuntu. While other distros havetheir own areas of strength, Ubuntu is far and away the mostaccessible to Linux newbies.

A good way to dip your toes in the water is to boot up whatLinux fans call a liveCD, a distribution that runs entirely off a CD without havingto modify your hard disk. This will be slow, because CDs are slow,but it's a way to get a look at the possibilities without havingto do anything drastic.
I have written a primer on the basicsof Unix and the Internet.
I used to recommend against installing either Linux or BSD as asolo project if you're a newbie. Nowadays the installers have gottengood enough that doing it entirely on your own is possible, even for anewbie. Nevertheless, I still recommend making contact with your localLinux user's group and asking for help. It can't hurt, andmay smooth the process.

3. Learn how to use the World Wide Web and write HTML.

Most of the things the hacker culture has built do their workout of sight, helping run factories and offices and universitieswithout any obvious impact on how non-hackers live. The Web is theone big exception, the huge shiny hacker toy that evenpoliticians admit has changed the world. Forthis reason alone (and a lot of other good ones as well) you need tolearn how to work the Web.
This doesn't just mean learning how to drive a browser (anyone can dothat), but learning how to write HTML, the Web's markup language. Ifyou don't know how to program, writing HTML will teach you somemental habits that will help you learn. So build a home page.Try to stick to XHTML, which is a cleaner language than classic HTML.(There are good beginner tutorials on the Web;here's one.)
But just having a home page isn't anywhere near good enough tomake you a hacker. The Web is full of home pages. Most of them arepointless, zero-content sludge â€” very snazzy-looking sludge, mindyou, but sludge all the same (for more on this see The HTML HellPage).
To be worthwhile, your page must havecontent â€” it must be interesting and/or usefulto other hackers. And that brings us to the next topic...

4. If you don't have functional English, learn it.

As an American and native English-speaker myself, I havepreviously been reluctant to suggest this, lest it be taken as a sortof cultural imperialism. But several native speakers of otherlanguages have urged me to point out that English is the workinglanguage of the hacker culture and the Internet, and that you will need to know it to function in the hacker community.
Back around 1991 I learned that many hackers who have English asa second language use it in technical discussions even when they sharea birth tongue; it was reported to me at the time that English has aricher technical vocabulary than any other language and is thereforesimply a better tool for the job. For similar reasons, translationsof technical books written in English are often unsatisfactory (whenthey get done at all).
Linus Torvalds, a Finn, comments his code in English (itapparently never occurred to him to do otherwise). His fluencyin English has been an important factor in his ability to recruita worldwide community of developers for Linux. It's an example worthfollowing.
Being a native English-speaker does not guarantee that you havelanguage skills good enough to function as a hacker. If your writingis semi-literate, ungrammatical, and riddled with misspellings,many hackers (including myself) will tend to ignore you. While sloppywriting does not invariably mean sloppy thinking, we've generallyfound the correlation to be strong â€” and we have no use forsloppy thinkers. If you can't yet write competently, learn to.

The Hacker Attitude

1. The world is full of fascinating problems waiting to be solved.2. No problem should ever have to be solved twice.3. Boredom and drudgery are evil.4. Freedom is good.5. Attitude is no substitute for competence..

Hackers solve problems and build things, and they believe in freedomand voluntary mutual help. To be accepted as a hacker, you have tobehave as though you have this kind of attitude yourself. And tobehave as though you have the attitude, you have to really believe theattitude.
But if you think of cultivating hacker attitudes as just a wayto gain acceptance in the culture, you'll miss the point. Becomingthe kind of person who believes these things is important foryou â€” for helping you learn and keeping youmotivated. As with all creative arts, the most effective way tobecome a master is to imitate the mind-set of masters â€” not justintellectually but emotionally as well.
Or, as the following modern Zen poem has it:

So, if you want to be a hacker, repeat the following things untilyou believe them:

1. The world is full of fascinating problems waiting to be solved.

Being a hacker is lots of fun, but it's a kind of fun that takeslots of effort. The effort takes motivation. Successful athletes gettheir motivation from a kind of physical delight in making theirbodies perform, in pushing themselves past their own physical limits.Similarly, to be a hacker you have to get a basic thrill from solvingproblems, sharpening your skills, and exercising yourintelligence.
If you aren't the kind of person that feels this way naturally, you'llneed to become one in order to make it as a hacker. Otherwise you'llfind your hacking energy is sapped by distractions like sex, money, andsocial approval.
(You also have to develop a kind of faith in your own learningcapacity â€” a belief that even though you may not know all of what youneed to solve a problem, if you tackle just a piece of it and learnfrom that, you'll learn enough to solve the next piece â€” and so on,until you're done.)

2. No problem should ever have to be solved twice.

Creative brains are a valuable, limited resource. They shouldn't bewasted on re-inventing the wheel when there are so many fascinatingnew problems waiting out there.
To behave like a hacker, you have to believe that the thinking time ofother hackers is precious â€” so much so that it's almost a moral dutyfor you to share information, solve problems and then give thesolutions away just so other hackers can solve newproblems instead of having to perpetually re-address old ones.
Note, however, that "No problem should ever have to be solvedtwice." does not imply that you have to consider all existingsolutions sacred, or that there is only one right solution to anygiven problem. Often, we learn a lot about the problem that we didn'tknow before by studying the first cut at a solution. It's OK, andoften necessary, to decide that we can do better. What's not OK isartificial technical, legal, or institutional barriers (likeclosed-source code) that prevent a good solution from being re-usedand force people to re-invent wheels.
(You don't have to believe that you're obligated to giveall your creative product away, though thehackers that do are the ones that get most respect from other hackers.It's consistent with hacker values to sell enough of it to keep you infood and rent and computers. It's fine to use your hacking skills tosupport a family or even get rich, as long as you don't forget yourloyalty to your art and your fellow hackers while doing it.)

3. Boredom and drudgery are evil.

Hackers (and creative people in general) should never be bored or haveto drudge at stupid repetitive work, because when this happens itmeans they aren't doing what only they can do â€” solve new problems.This wastefulness hurts everybody. Therefore boredom and drudgery arenot just unpleasant but actually evil.
To behave like a hacker, you have to believe this enough to want toautomate away the boring bits as much as possible, not just foryourself but for everybody else (especially other hackers).
(There is one apparent exception to this. Hackers willsometimes do things that may seem repetitive or boring to an observeras a mind-clearing exercise, or in order to acquire a skill or havesome particular kind of experience you can't have otherwise. But thisis by choice â€” nobody who can think should ever be forced into asituation that bores them.)

4. Freedom is good.

Hackers are naturally anti-authoritarian. Anyone who can give youorders can stop you from solving whatever problem you're beingfascinated by â€” and, given the way authoritarian minds work, willgenerally find some appallingly stupid reason to do so. So theauthoritarian attitude has to be fought wherever you find it, lestit smother you and other hackers.
(This isn't the same as fighting all authority. Children need to beguided and criminals restrained. A hacker may agree to accept somekinds of authority in order to get something he wants more than thetime he spends following orders. But that's a limited, consciousbargain; the kind of personal surrender authoritarians want is not onoffer.)
Authoritarians thrive on censorship and secrecy. And theydistrust voluntary cooperation and information-sharing â€” theyonly like â€˜cooperationâ€™ that they control. So to behavelike a hacker, you have to develop an instinctive hostility tocensorship, secrecy, and the use of force or deception to compelresponsible adults. And you have to be willing to act on thatbelief.

5. Attitude is no substitute for competence.

To be a hacker, you have to develop some of these attitudes. Butcopping an attitude alone won't make you a hacker, any more than itwill make you a champion athlete or a rock star. Becoming a hackerwill take intelligence, practice, dedication, and hard work.
Therefore, you have to learn to distrust attitude and respectcompetence of every kind. Hackers won't let posers waste their time,but they worship competence â€” especially competence at hacking, butcompetence at anything is valued. Competence at demanding skills thatfew can master is especially good, and competence at demanding skillsthat involve mental acuteness, craft, and concentration is best.
If you revere competence, you'll enjoy developing it in yourselfâ€” the hard work and dedication will become a kind of intense playrather than drudgery. That attitude is vital to becoming ahacker.

In this article I am going to show you the uses of firewall and its administration. You can monitor incoming and outgoing security alerts and the firewall company will record and track down an intrusion attempt depending on the severity.
Some firewalls are also useful as they detect viruses and worms.
All firewalls can be tested for effectiveness by using products that test for leaks or probe for open ports.

What is firewall administration ?
Personal firewall software is designed to prevent connections between the network and your computer, except for programs that the firewall software knows that they are not infected.

Network Magic needs to make network connections to set up sharing and check for updates, your firewall software needs to allow these connections.
Network Magic is permitted to make outbound communications.
Inbound communication from other computers running Network Magic is permitted to get past the firewall to Network Magic.
Outgoing communication: Most software firewalls have settings for specific program control.

Winamp Remote: Take your music with you

If you haven’t heard of Winamp Remote (currently in Beta) let me tell you a little about it. (If you’ve heard of Orb its basically the same thing). I actually ran into this program while looking for a program to stream media to my Windows Mobile 6 phone which happens to be the HTC Touch from Sprint.

Ok enough off topic, after experimenting with numerous streaming programs I found this one to kill the others when it comes to simplicity and ease-of-use in addition to a huge feature list. After installing Winamp Remote on your desktop PC, your computer will act as a server for all your media. This will allow you to practically access your media to anything including:

Mobile Phones
Your TV using (Wii, PS3, or XBOX360)
The web
Winamp

Everything is through a nice clean web interface and by the way, your friends can also access you media (they cannot download though). You have the ability to add anyone that has an account so that they can view your media, vice versa.
So basically I access all my media via web through my HTC Touch or web browser and BANG! Winamp automatically resamples the quality of the stream to fit my bandwidth (you could turn this feature off) and I now have skip-free music and video on my phone anywhere I need it (even the toilet seat) =P

How to beat the proxy and chat at work? - Palringo Hack

Most work environments now block all messaging/chat sites on their network. You used to be able to access meebo and other chat clients through a proxy site but that is no longer the case because they block the proxy sites now too! Well this hack has been proven to work for many people. The objective of this hack is to install a chat client (Palringo) on your Windows Mobile phone and access it through your desktop computer using MyMobiler.
What do you need?

Device running Windows Mobile
MyMobiler (Free download)
Palringo Chat Client (Free download)
Microsoft ActiveSync (Windows XP only)
Data Cable (Usually comes with the device otherwise cheap)
Preferably a Data Plan

Step 1: Install MyMobiler
Install the MyMobiler software from http://www.mymobiler.com/. It is a free download and works with Windows Mobile 2003 and up. MyMobiler allows you to use your keyboard to type and your mouse to control your device.
Here is the feature list:

View your mobile screen on your desktop.
Control your mobile by using desktop keyboard and mouse.
Copy/Paste text between mobile and desktop.
Capture mobile screen.
Drag and drop files to your mobile.
Support ActiveSync / IP Connection
Support Mobile Explorer (File Browse)

Step2: Install Palringo Chat Client on your mobile phone
You will have to go to the site http://www.palringo.com/ and create an account if you do not already have one. Add the services you use to your account and your buddylist should show up with all your contacts. Services include MSN Messenger, ICQ, AIM, Yahoo!, GTalk, and Gadu-Gadu.
Step 3: Connect your mobile phone to your computer
Hopefully a USB data cable came with your phone, use it to connect your mobile phone to your computer (you can also connect via Bluetooth). After it is connected Microsoft ActiveSync will come up if you are running Windows XP, otherwise Windows Mobile Device Center will handle the connection through Vista. If you do not have Microsoft ActiveSync you can get it from here. After your synchronization software is finished syncing with your computer, MyMobiler will start displaying your mobile screen on your monitor.
Note: While syncing MyMobiler will slow down tremendously. Let it do what it has to do or your connection may freeze.
Step 4: Start Palringo
Now that you have already setup your Palringo account, open it via the MyMobiler window on your desktop screen and start chatting!
Still Can’t Connect?
If Palringo says “You have been connecting and disconnecting”, disconnect the phone from the data cable and try to connect to Palringo then (it will probably dial your data network on your phone). After it is connected, reconnect your phone to your computer.
Data/Text messaging charges
I believe Palringo uses both text messaging and data for its service (correct me if I’m wrong) so make sure you have a plan supporting this. If not you will probably get a large phone bill and return to hackgenius extremely, extremely angry.

Just because you don’t have an iPhone doesn’t mean that you cannot watch YouTube videos on your phone. If you have Windows Mobile 2003 running on your Pocket PC or Smartphone you can watch YouTube videos easily and for free. What you need is YouTube Pocket. It is a completely FREE
service (like most things on this site)! Unlike with the iPhone you will be able to search for videos from the actual YouTube site not the mobile version which currently has a limited amount of videos (very disappointing). All you need to do is download the TCPMP player and FLV(Flash) plugin from here . In case you did not know, TCPMP is an awesome free professional player for the Windows Mobile platform and can do much more than play YouTube files.

Installation of YouTube Pocket’s Components:
1. Installing the Player
In order to use YouTube Pocket you will first need to install The Core Pocket Media Player (TCPMP). If you already have zbop’s FlashVideoBundle installed youcan skip to step 3, if not select your version of player below.
If you have a touchscreen device (Windows Mobile Pro) please download this player:

2. Installing the Plugins
Next you must install the Flash plugins for TCPMP. Make sure you install the plugin in the same place as the player (Device or Storage Card).

3. Setting the proper Protocols
Whew, the hard part is now over, lets get to the setting up! First open TCPMP and press ‘Options -> Settings’. From the screen that brings you to press ‘Select Page -> File Associations’. On the bottom of this page you will see both ‘Flash Video’ and ‘MMS Protocol’, make sure both of them are checked. If you don’t see both of these settings, you may need a soft reset. Once they are both checked, keep the settings open and move onto step 4.
4. Setting the Buffering
The buffering could make or break your YouTube Pocket experiance, so let’s make sure you set it properly. While still in the settings page click ‘Select Page -> Buffering’. here you will see some buffering options, you want them to be as listed below:
Normal buffer size: 1148KB
Preload at underrun: 5%
Preload for audio: 64KB
The buffering settings above should work for most users. If you still experiance lag with these settings you may want to try to kick the ‘Normal buffer size’ down to 800KB and see if anything gets better.It may take a little work to get the right settings, but once you do, you’ll be glad you took the time.
5. Auto-Play (Optional)
If you are anything like me you’ll probably want your video to play automatically after you click it, if that’s the case, this is for you! While still in your settings screen press ‘Select page -> Player’. Here you will see options for both ‘Play at open’ and ‘Play at open in fullscreen’. Check the box next to the one you are interested and you are all set.
6. Removing Lag
Click ‘Select Page -> Advanced’ and set ‘Manual A/V offset +/-’ to ‘-400′. This should get rid of any lip-sync effect.
7. Enjoy YouTube Pocket

iPhone 2.0 Beta Hacked

Why settle for the standard home icon on your browser? If your home button brings you to hackaday.com, why not make the icon reflect that destination? This hack is quick and simple. We’ll take you through it using Firefox 3 and the default theme with standard sized icons.
We start by using our favorite graphics program to make an icon that is 24×24 pixels, and then saved is as a PNG file without compression.

To use the new image as a home icon, we edited a Cascading Style Sheet which is stored in the file classic.jar. On Ubuntu 9.04, this was found in /usr/lib/firefox-3.0.13/chrome/ but the file will be located elsewhere on other operating systems. We made a backup of classic.jar and then unzipped the contents (JARs are basically the same as zip files).
In the unzipped archive, we navigated to the folder /skin/classic/browser/ and opened browser.css using a text editor. This is where the magic happens and although we only changed the home button icon, there’s a lot more possibilities you should look into. We changed the #home-button entry so that the image URL pointed to our new file using the file:/// format. Here’s what ours looked like after the change:

We saved this file, then zipped up the file structure back into a file called classic.jar and copied it to the same location we originally found it. A quick restart of Firefox showed the new icon. Let us know your other Firefox tweaks in the comments!
Update: [Colby] pointed out that this type of CSS change should be made in the “userChrome.css” file. He’s right and here’s how:
Find your user profile directory and go to the “chrome” sub-directory inside of it. Create the file “userChrome.css”; there may already be an example file that you can just rename. The important bit of this CSS file is the namespace line that tells Firefox how to use it. Here is what ours looks like:

In order to get Firefox to listen to our new icon we had to had the “!important” keyword. Now just restart firefox and bask in the glory of your new home icon.

We picked up a great Firefox bookmark tip from [Colin]. He wanted an easier way to look up bug numbers on the launchpad bug tracker. Because the url is always the same with the bug number at the end of the address, he replaced the final portion of the url with %s. Now, when he types the keyword followed by the bug number in the address bar the bug page loads right up.
We don’t do all that many bug searches but it’s immediately obvious that this can be useful in a lot of ways. Another group of developers has stepped up to the plate in the never-ending attempt to integrate online streaming video with MythTV. The new plugin is called MythNetVision and aims to bring streaming and downloading video functionality both easily and legally. That means without violating the terms of service of the providing website.
We’ve seen so many attempts that fell short it’s easy to be skeptical about the chances of this plugin actually working. Plugins like MythStream and MythVodka worked only temporarily before breaking and never seemed to provide a reliable option. Many people have tried adding Boxee, Hulu Desktop, or XBMC integration by launching these separate packages via the MythTV UI but that’s far from a clean solution.
It looks like MythNetVision is taking a slightly different approach. Although not yet available, the designers have built the plugin in two parts. The frontend is a fully skinnable user interface that parses RSS feeds to provide the hooks needed to browse, search, and view video. Depending on the content, a browser may be spawned to play the video, it may be played within MythTV’s normal player, or a separate download thread can be launch with video following after the appropriate buffer level is reached. The RSS feeds come either directly from the provider, such as the Revision3 feeds, or a scraper can be written to provide custom RSS feeds from sites that don’t have them.
We’ve seen a glimpse of the progress and we’re optimistic that we’ll see a reliable plugin. Early adoption and user script contribution are the best way to help ensure this so keep an eye out for the public release of this package.

- Ok... The geocities link doesn't work because I uploaded this thing years ago... the information link makes perfect sense:
  
  1) If you look at the code, lines 4 and 5 from the BOTTOM contain value="YOUR EMAIL HERE" and value="YOUR PASSWORD HERE", so change them accordingly and save it.
  
  2) You only need the code out of that file. So delete everything before (and including) the large string of **** characters and at the end delete everything after (and including) the other line of **** characters and save the file to your computer as a .html file.
  
  Then if you have correctly inserted your email and password (for facebook) you should be able to 'run' your .html file and it will automatically log you in.
  
  If you are unable to get it working after trying this, then well, you should probably stop trying... it is clearly too complicated.

Does not works well I tried with IE7 and to get logged in I had to click the icon two time. Also it opens three tabs:

- It works... I just tried it and it works fine, it is possible that you did not delete all the commented information from the top of the instruction file and the bottom of the file. Be sure to input your email address and password in the code near the bottom in the correct spots.
  
  Also, be sure to have cookies enabled, and it will work fine.
  
  Firefox will only let you do this if you have cookies enabled.

How to Bypass Firewalls & Get into Blocked Websites in School or at Work with FreeProxy (Windows)

Okay kids, you’ve been searching the web for how to get into blocked websites in school, with no luck. Face it, you’re living in a world where your parents and your teachers want to protect you from the vile and nasty evils that lurk on the Internet. Why? Are there really child predators hiding in every corner? Is it really critical that you are not allowed to check your Gmail account during your free period at school? The reality is that Internet security “experts” around the globe are taking their jobs just a “tad” too seriously.
A 10 Step Guide on How to Get Into Blocked Websites in School
It’s important every now and then to buck the system. If you let these security admins have their way, you’ll be blocked from 50 percent of the most useful areas of the Internet. Social networks and email are now valuable and important communication tools. MakeUseOf has done an excellent job covering proxy servers, such as Mark’s article on some legitimate uses for proxies, Linda’s article on how to access blocked websites with proxies, or Ben’s article on 5 methods to bypass blocked sites. However, in this simple guide, you’ll learn how to set up a simple proxy server on your own home PC that you can access from the school computer in order to use your home Internet access to browse the Internet from school.
Don’t worry, this isn’t some high-level installation guide. I am a Windows geek, but I’m writing this guide for those of you who are not computer scientists, but would still like to figure out the easiest way to get into blocked websites in school. So, let’s get started.

Step #1 – Determine Your IP Addresses
This guide assumes that you have a broadband Internet connection, and that you’re sitting behind a router. Your first order of business is to write down your computer’s local IP address within your home network, and then your router’s IP on the Internet (don’t worry, it’s ridiculously easy).
On the computer that you want to use as your home proxy server, open a command prompt (Start -> Run -> type cmd) and type in “ipconfig.”

In my case I have two Ethernet cards, but in your case you’ll likely just see one “IP Address.” Write it down. next, open up a web browser and connect to your router.
Step #2 – Configure Your Router For Port Forwarding
Go into your router admin panel (for Linksys you type the URL 192.168.1.1). You can check the IP address of your router by clicking on the “status” in the admin panel, or you can just visit a site like WhatIsMyIP.
Please note that to access your router you might need a username and password for it. If you don’t know user/pass details for your router chances are they are on default. You can lookup those on sites like CIRT or RouterPasswords.

Next, you’re going to “poke a hole” in your firewall by enabling port forwarding. For Linksys, this is typically found in the Gaming section under “Port Range Forward.” Just find “port forwarding” for your router and type in any nonstandard port number. In my case I just opened up ports 1085 to 1090 and forwarded it to the IP address that I just looked up using the “ipconfig” command. Save your changes and you’re halfway there!
Step #3: Turn Your Home PC Into a Proxy Server
Now that you’ve just told your router to tell all Internet requests on a specific port to go to your home PC, you’re going to configure your home PC to relay those HTTP requests out through your Internet account. You do this by installing a free proxy server. For your purposes here, FreeProxy by HandCraftedSoftware.org does the trick. Download FreeProxy and install it to your home PC.

Open up the FreeProxy software and click on the “port.” Set the Protocol to HTTP Proxy, and make the port one that you specified in the router. When you click done, you are ready to start using your new proxy. However, every geek reading this is twitching and their faces are all turning red. Why? Well, you’ve just opened up a virtually unprotected (albeit non-standard) port to the open Internet, and you’re forwarding all HTTP requests through your own Internet connection. That’s a major no-no. While you might hate security weenies, when you’re talking about your home PC, a little security is a good thing. Enabling HTTP authentication is a good idea, as is the FreeProxy authentication option.

With these settings you can configure the proxy to authenticate with your Windows logon id/password, or you can set one within the FreeProxy software itself. Either option is definitely a good idea.
Step #4 – Start Your Proxy Service and Bypass Your School Filters
When you’re happy with all of the FreeProxy settings and security, all you have to do is start up the service and you’re good to go. However, in my case, to prove that the proxy is working properly, I enabled the logging feature.

Don’t enable logging normally, because it will consume disk space. However, it’s a great way to see how well the proxy is working (and whether or not your security is working properly). When you’re ready, just click the “stop/start” option on the main screen.

Step #5 – Configure the Client Browser
To test out your new proxy server, go to a local library (tip: locate all nearby libraries with public library finder), open up a browser and select options and connections. Configure your LAN connection settings to use a proxy server.

Select manual proxy configuration, and make sure to put the IP address of your router into the “HTTP Proxy” field, and the port you configured into the “Port” field. Now when you use the Internet, you’ll notice that it’s slower. Images on pages will take a bit longer to load, as the data travels through your home PC, and then to your school PC where you’re browsing the net.

Having a slow connection is a small price to pay for being able to access any web page that you want through your own personal proxy that the school firewall won’t know to block. After browsing the net for a while through my own private proxy server, I went to the PC and checked the logs. Sure enough, it had logged every site that I’d visited while connected through the server.

FreeProxy works quickly and easily, and you’ll have access to a private Internet connection from school or work.
The Battle With Security Goons Rages On
Be aware that the security folks at your workplace or your school will not be content until you have lost all access to the outside Internet world. They will stop at nothing to prevent you from bypassing their firewall. Some corporations modify PC group policies so that users can’t even edit their connection settings. In other cases, they’ve blocked access to proxies that are identified by IP address by blocking all IP addresses in the URL field. Regardless of their methods, while they continue to block you from checking your Facebook profile, or sending a shout-out to your friends on Twitter, they’ll have no choice but to eventually realize that there’s no harm in it. IT departments across the world need to wake up and smell the coffee. The Internet is now a necessity – deal with it.

eeing a lot of people putting their email addresses to get neighbors, I got the "non-profit" idea creating this page to organize it. This list works for any social game like Farmville, Farmtown, Cafe world, etc.... each person decide what accept and what ignore.

FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
1. Copy the email list from last comment.
2. Go to "Friends" and then "Invite Friends" on top of Facebook.
3. Paste it in the "To" box and write a message like "Let's grow up our farms".
4. Everybody needs to be "Facebook Friends" before "Neighbors", then you need to wait until you are friends to add them like neighbors. You can delete them from friends after they are "Neighbors" (after you deleted them, they are going to stay inside the game but not in the Free Gift list), to keep them in the Free Gift list keep them like friends in Facebook, then, do what follows down to keep your Private Information safe.
!!! Important !!! : To keep your Private Information safe:
1. Go to Friends.
2. Create a List called "Neighbors".
3. Go to, on top, "Settings", "Privacy Settings" and "Profile".
4. In every option under "Profile", I mean: "Basic Info", "Personal Info", "Status and Links", etc.... select "Customize".
5. Below in "Except These People" select the "Neighbors" list you created in step 2.

7. After you invite ALL the list from the last post, and before somebody "accept" the friend request, go to "Friends" in Facebook and ADD all the "Friend Request Pending" people to the "Neighbors" list from step 2, then, when any of them accept your request is going to be in the list and is NOT going to access your Private Information (Tip: you can organize ALL your friends by lists, then, when you add a lot of people, they are going to be easy to identify because don't belong to any list and say "Add to list" in the right side).
8. Every time you add other No Friend Neighbor in the future, put him in the "Neighbors" list.
these is gonna keep your Information safe from No Friends Neighbors.
Remember BUILD the list, put your email under the another ones in a new comment.
This list is totally public, although, it's only purpose is contact FarmVille neighbors is your responsibility to put your email here. You can use it to get FarmVille neighbors and we aren't gonna use for some thing different. We'll organize the list once a day to make it easy for the next people.
We suggest you create a new email just for this purpose.

How to enable Hibernation In Windows 7?

Using Windows 7 since the past couple of days, I felt it strange that it didn’t have the usual hibernation option. So, I decided to check whether they are completely removed the Hibernation option or it had to be started manually. I tried manually, and it worked
In Windows 7, it is complicated to enable the Hibernation option as compared to XP or Vista. So, we need to do it manually.
Enabling Hibernation In Windows 7 Through Power Options
1. Go to Control Panel and click on Change when the computer sleeps.

After that just click on Choose Advanced Power Settings. This is when the Advanced Settings dialog box will popup. You can notice that in the category there is Sleep and under that is Hibernate. Expand Hibernate and then choose the time period ofhibernation :)

Enable Hibernation In Windows 7 via Command Prompt
1. Go to RUN and type CMD in the dialog box provided.
2. Now type the following command exactly as given :

powercfg.exe /hibernate on

3. To disable hibernation, just use the following command :

powercfg.exe /hibernate off

Use any of the methods to enable it. But I don’t understand the logic of the Microsoft coders to hide such an important update. Hope they make some useful changes in the Service Pack 1.

Tracing Gtalk users is rather easy,you only have to use the following method -

Login to Gtalk using your Google id.
Go to IM window of user you want to trace for invisible.
You will see a drop-down list on right top side,click on it.
Click on "go off the record".
Now give any message.
If the "xyz@gmail.com is offline and can't receive messages right now" message appears in red color it means your friend is really offline.
If no message comes means your friend is online and invisible for all.

Make a Conference Call in GTalk

I have seen many people using GTalk these days. The very reason for this is that it’s easy to use and quite light on system too. But, unlike other IM softwares Google Talk lacks certain features like conference call, video chat, emoticons, etc.

There’s a small trick which allows you to make a conference call as well. It’s a little complicated though. Just follow the below steps carefully:

Firstly, Start Google Talk on every computer in which you wish to conference. (In this example, three computers are taken into consideration; Computer A, B and C).
Now, after you have opened GTalk, make a new shortcut for Google talk on desktop, right click and go to its properties and at the end of it add ‘/nomutex’ without quotes. If you installed it to the default folder then your shortcut should read “C:\Program Files\Google\Google Talk\googletalk.exe” /nomutex.
Click on the newly created shortcut to launch GTalk. Now, you should have two GTalk messengers running side by side on the same computer. The same thing should be done on all computers that you wish to make a conference call (Computer A, B and C).
Now, all the people on different computers making a conference call need to cooperate. The person on Computer A should make a call to person on Computer B from the first open GTalk window, Computer B should make a call to Computer C from the second GTalk messenger. Similarly, Computer C should make a call to Computer A from the second Gtalk window opened. In this process all three computers- A, B, C will be connected and you can speak simultaneously. Little complicated, but it’s a nice trick.

I’ve posted about phishing and the techniques attacker’s use to spread their phishing sites. Now, let’s look at how they create these phishing pages in the first place with step-by-step instructions. Knowledge of PHP and HTML will be very useful for creating fake login pages. By reading the rest of this post, you are agreeing to our DISCLAIMER.

Select a target website and navigate to their login page.
Save the whole page by going to File->Save Page As.. (I’m doing this in Firefox and so should you.)
You will now have an HTML file and a folder full of images and maybe some JavaScript files. Rename the HTML file to index.html and create another file called list.txt. This text file will hold the login credentials of the victims.
Create a PHP file and name it “phish.php”.
Paste the following code into the previously made PHP file. This code is what takes the login details and stores it in the file “list.txt” and then redirects to the real website. This way the user will think he put in the wrong login information and will succeed the second time since it is now the real website.

6. Now we must point the login form in the HTML file to the PHP file. Locate the form code in the HTMl file and change the action link to the PHP file and the method type to GET so that the submitted information is passed through the URL. TheHTML code should start with something like this:

7. Once everything is complete, upload the files to a free webhost that supports PHP.
8. That’s it! You’ve just created a phishing page.
UPDATE: If you are using WAMP to test this script, make sure that when you are pointing the index page to the phish page you point it to localhost://folder-its-in/phish.php so that the php file actually gets parsed.

How to Install Windows 7 On macintosh

Before you start to install windows 7 on your Mac using Boot Camp you will need the following:

All firmware updates installed on your Mac (use Apple Button -> Software Update… to check)
A Windows 7 installation DVD
Your OS X Leopard installation DVD
At least 10GB of empty hard drive space on your Mac (you can probably get away with less but you’ll have almost no room to install anything other than the OS)
An hour if all goes well, up to 5 hours if not
Though not absolutely required, it’s a VERY good idea to have a complete and up to date Time Machine backup of OS X – it really came in handy for me. Because part of the process involves partitioning your drive, there’s always the distinct chance something will go wrong and everything will be wiped out.
Patience, possibly a great deal of it. Having a book handy will also help kill time during the partitioning, installing etc).

Installing Windows 7 via Boot Camp

Here goes. First thing – close absolutely every open program you can. That includes those things running in the Apple Menu that you always forget about. Don’t worry about killing the Dock or Dashboard – having those running is fine.
Now open a Finder and navigate to Applications -> Utilities and double-click Boot Camp Assistant.
Click Continue on the initial Introduction screen. Ignore the fact that it doesn’t mention Windows 7 as a possible OS to install.
Now you have to decide how much space you want to allocate to Windows 7. You might be able to get away with going as low as 6GB, but I would highly advise against it. You’ll have almost no space left over to install software, and your page file in Windows might cause frequent crashes. I opted for 20GB, which left me with just a bit over 16GB to use after installing Windows 7.To change the amount of space to dedicate to Windows 7, click the small divider between MacOS X and Windows, and drag it to the left.
Once you’ve determined how much space you want to allocate to Windows 7, click the Partition button.
The partitioning itself doesn’t take particularly long. If you receive an error, proceed to step 10 of the “How to install Vista with Boot Camp” tutorial. It provides all the troubleshooting info you need to resolve partitioning issues. Once you’ve cleared up any problems, or if everything just goes smoothly, proceed with the next step in this tutorial.
Once completed you’ll notice a new BOOTCAMP drive on your desktop.
Now insert your Windows 7 DVD and click the Start Installation button.
Your Mac will restart, and Windows 7 will boot. You’ll be prompted with a window asking you which partition you want to install Windows on. Select the one with BOOTCAMP in the Name column. Selecting anything else may wipe out OS X or cause serious problems. Then select the Drive options (advanced) link.

Click OK.
And Windows 7 will begin to install. It’s a fairly boring process, so you may want to grab yourself a cup of coffee or your beverage of choice. But don’t go too far away, because when your system reboots, you’ll need to remove the Windows 7 DVD.
With the Windows 7 DVD removed, your Mac will automatically boot back into Windows 7, and the installation will complete. You’ll be prompted to select your language, keyboard layout etc. The rest of the Windows 7 installation process is very straight forward.
Once the installation has completed and your Mac has restarted again, you’ll be able to use Windows 7. WiFi will work immediately (no drivers to install) so connect to the Internet. Windows 7 will then begin to download updates, including the proper video card driver. Let it do its thing.
Once completed, you’ll be prompted to reboot yet again. Do so.
Once Windows 7 boots back up again, you’ll notice the resolution is much better, and you can enable the advanced graphics features.
But if you check for sound, you’ll notice there are no sound drivers installed.
Insert your OS X Leopard DVD. When prompted, select Run setup.exe.
The Boot Camp installer will launch. Click Next to begin.
Select I accept the terms in the license agreement and then click Next again.
Make sure that Apple Software Update for Windows is checked, and click Install.
The Boot Camp installer will do its thing, and install all the required drivers.
Notifications will pop up with each driver that gets installed.
Once completed, click Finish.
And yet again you’ll be prompted to reboot. Remove your OS X Leopard DVD from the drive, and click Yes to restart.
If you still have problems with sound not working, you’ll need to install the Realtek drivers. Windows 7 Tutorial will explain what to do.
That’s it, you’re done! When your Mac boots, hold down the Option key to select which Operating System you want to boot into Windows 7 tutorial.

After you type the file , a password file will be created in the same directory .
Then you can see what username and password you have entered.
